Getting Started

What this article covers:
Use this checklist when you first create a campaign account. The goal is to get from draft to a previewable website without learning a page builder.

Steps:
1. Open the dashboard Progress page and review the missing setup items.
2. Complete Campaign Profile first: candidate name, office, location, slogan, short intro, and contact email.
3. Choose a template, then preview the site before publishing.
4. Add the campaign logo or text wordmark, hero image or hero background, candidate photo, and first gallery images.
5. Add the donation link, legal disclaimer text, and at least a few top issues before launch.
6. Publish on your PoliticalWin URL first, then connect a custom domain when ready.

Important notes:
- Completed checklist items show as done so you can focus on what remains.
- PoliticalWin provides website tools and field guidance. Your campaign remains responsible for public content and legal review.
