Switching Plans

What this article covers:
Plan changes are scheduled for the next billing date where possible so campaigns do not accidentally create duplicate active subscriptions.

Steps:
1. Open Dashboard > Billing.
2. Choose the target plan.
3. Submit Schedule Plan Change.
4. Review the scheduled change message.
5. Cancel the scheduled change if the campaign changes its mind before the effective date.

Important notes:
- The dashboard keeps the current plan active until Stripe confirms or the scheduled effective date is processed.
- Officeholder mode is normally available after election season from December through March unless staff overrides the window.
